Revit - Repeat Recent or Last Command

Did you know that you can quickly repeat the command that was last used or selected from a list of recently used commands? This is one of the many ways to improved efficiency in Revit and over a day can save time. It’s available on all platforms and versions of Revit.

To repeat commands, just do any of the following:

  1. Right-click in the drawing and click Repeat [Last Command].
  2. Right-click in the drawing and click Recent Commands (Command Name). Recently used commands are options as shown here. A maximum of five recent commands display in the list.

Please note: the following are not accessible from the recent commands list; tool settings, view commands, modify, redo/undo, copy/cut/paste, finish/cancel, and some Options Bar commands.
