Question:
The MapThat Scale print tool runs and generates the output PDF, but the OS Mastermap basemap is not showing, what could be causing this?
Answer:
If you believe you have setup all the connection parameters to the OSMM database correctly, it could be that the SRID (projection) used for the OS basemapping is incorrectly referenced.
In your MapThat database check the MT_ADMIN_SETTINGS table and the value in the DBSRID record should match the SRID of the data in your OSMM database.
For example, if you have the DBSRID set to LONG/LAT (4326) –
And your Scale Print shows an empty basemap ,…
.. then it’s likely that the OS Mastermap database is projected to British National Grid.
So simply change the DBSRID to BNG (27700) –
And when the next Scale Print jobs runs, it will correctly load the OS Mastermap data into the correct location and the output will now show OS Mastermap basemapping –
