MapThat Mobile – Basemap Download Size

The Cadline DynamicMaps team is pleased to announce that the latest version of MapThat Mobile now allows users to set limits or increase the basemap download size.

If you choose to download and cache a basemap, the number of zoom levels or size of area chosen may be too large for the device you are using. If so, a message will appear stating the size of your requested download and a confirmation of the current maximum download limit.

In the latest MapThat Mobile, we have added an option in the Settings to change the Maximum Download Size used on your device. In this example we will change the current 50mb to 500mb.

Now, when you try to download your basemap area, the App will recognise that the requested size is now smaller than your Max Download Size and you can then continue to download the basemap.
