Introduction

Tags are text labels that display information from a model element. A tag will automatically update when an element is modified. Each element requires a differing tag family.

Sometimes when you select a particular tag you may get a message similar to the one illustratd below.

To overcome this inconvenience you can preload all necessary tags into your project. On the Annotate Ribbon click on the Tag panel dropdown and then click loaded Tags And Symbols. You could also right click on this icon and select the option to add it to the Quick Access tool-bar.

When the Loaded Tags and Symbols dialogue box opens you can select all the tags that you need in one operation. Note that you can load symbols from here as well. This saves time later on.

Conclusion

When configuring template standards it is always a good idea to include all required tags for annotation purposes.
