elecworks - Adding Keyboard Command Shortcuts

An interesting support call came in where the user wanting AutoCAD® style keyboard shortcuts within elecworks™. Whilst elecworks™ doesn’t as default have keyboard shortcuts setup, they can be defined so that they are similar to ones that users may have used within AutoCAD® or similar.

Firstly the “command line” needs to be turned on.

The command line will then appear at the base

From the Quick Access bar, select the dropdown arrow:

Select the Keyboard tab as shown. You can then enter a new shortcut key for the specific command.
