Inventor 2018.1 now supports Solid Edge

Autodesk have recently launched a subscription update for Inventor 2018.1. The update should be available to all subscription customers from your Autodesk Desktop App, or via your Autodesk Account.

Inventor 2018.1 can open the following Solid Edge versions: V18 - V20, ST1 - ST9

Below is an animated GIF showing a sample Solid Edge data-set from Grabcad being opened in Inventor 2018.1. You will see that Materials are bought across, as well as a full BoM structure.

Bonus tip, once you save the document, all of your thumbnails will be available in the BoM view.
