Vault Office is a really useful addition to Vault Professional or Workgroup. It gives non-CAD users the ability to check in Word, Powerpoint and Excel files. Vault Office licensing offers a more cost effective option for managers and document controllers, when compared to a full Vault licence.
In addition to Office documents, Vault Office Users are also able to participate in design reviews of CAD files. This allows for Managers who may not use CAD to approve designs and even participate in ECO's.
The limitation of Vault Office, is that Vault Office users are not able to check in CAD files.
