When checking for updates using the Autodesk Desktop App, you are not getting any updates and seeing a spinning wheel as shown below?
This issue is due to folder redirection on the “AppData” and “Documents” folder for the user’s profile. This will need to be changed using the registry keys under the following location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
- AppData: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming
- Personal: %USERPROFILE%\Documents
Note: Folder redirection is not supported with Autodesk products.
