BIM360 Glue – Communication

BIM360 Glue is a great collaborative tool and enables a faster and more efficient way of communicating between the team. The mark up and notification functions help us to do that.

You can see above we have marked up a missing door and given it some text which is great, but almost any other application can do that. Where BIM360 Glue differs is that because all project stakeholders have access to the system, we can send a notification using the notifications envelope on the right hand side of the saved views. This will let us notify anybody in the project team and it will send them a link via email to let them know there is a mark-up ready for review.

 A combination of this with the ability to ‘Glue’ models from Revit can mean very fast communication and rectification of issues.
