Inventor 2018 - What's new Browser Enhancements

Autodesk Inventor 2018 is now available. Subscribers can access the new version via manage.autodesk.com

This new release is packed full of enhancements, one of my favourites is the new browser behavior. Inventor 2018 brings in a totally re-designed browser search. You can now search for parts in an assembly (at any level) based on name, part number, or iProperty (including custom iProperty values). The animated GIF below shows the search in action.

Another enhancement to the browser in Inventor 2018, are the new tabs. iLogic rules and forms can be stored on a on tab behind the model browser, for fast access. These new nested browsers can also be undocked and can even be located on a second screen. The animated GIF below shows how you can customise your browser.
