    Question:

    Cannot find setupUi.dll?

     

    Answer:

    Issue:

    Trying to install an Autodesk product and you are receiving an error:- “Cannot find setupUi.dll” after launching setup.exe.

    Solution:

    Make sure that you have a full copy of the Autodesk media on your local hard drive.  For a guide on downloading your media, please refer to: https://www.cadlinecommunity.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/212184169-Guide-to-Downloading-Autodesk-Software

    Locate the setup directory, located:

    • C:\Autodesk\<product>\setup
    • Rename the setup folder to Setup >> case sensitive “S”

     

    Re-launch setup.exe to continue the installation
