AutoCAD Electrical 2024 – Wire/Pipe Type Synchronisation

Wire/Pipe types can now be synchronized for all wires/pipes in the same equipotential network with the same signal codes across all drawings. If you change the wire/pipe type on, the source wire/pipe, AutoCAD Electrical will prompt you to change the wire/pipe type across the entire equipotential network. An Update Signal References is recommended to refresh the numbering of the destination wires/pipes.

Right-click over a source wire/pipe which has a destination network on another drawing(s)

Highlight the new wire/pipe

Select

Right-click or press Enter if you don’t wish to select any further objects

To update the wire/pipe numbering on the destination network. Select Update Signal References
