Hi Gareth Spencer here I have just started working at CADline as an Application Engineer based out of our Knutsford office.

I am predominantly from a Structural Engineering background and after obtaining my HND in Civil Engineering I started out as Draughtsman for a small company producing precast concrete stair drawings. I later moved onto to work for a small structural engineers firm where I would gain some valuable AutoCAD skills.

Back in late 2007 I moved to Gifford a medium size multidiscipline Engineering company working as a Senior Structural Technician which you may know as part of the Ramboll group. This is where I was introduced to the world of 3D and BIM with Revit Structure.

Whilst working at Gifford I was lucky enough to take on the role of company CAD Coordinator, supporting around 150-200 staff using AutoCAD, training and development as well as defining and implementing CAD Standards.
