Hello everyone my name is Chris Hobbs, I am the AEC Industry Manager at CADline. My role includes managing the Industry Specialist and Training team. The other part of my role is to keep you the customers up to date with the latest technologies from Autodesk and other software vendors. I look after Autodesk's BIM products including Revit and Navisworks and specialise in 3ds max, but can still put my hand to the AutoCAD based products.

I spent the first 10 years of my career in the building industry using AutoCAD and AEC, where I also studied to become a Structural Engineer, after spending several years working for RMC in the design department I moved to TRL where I specialised in visualisation for the Accident reconstruction and Anti terrorism field, working on some famous high profile cases. Moving from there I went to QinetiQ to continue the role. This experience has given me some vital skills for my role at CADline.

Over the coming months I will be talking about my work project managing BIM implementations, promoting sustainable design technology and playing with the latest technology from Autodesk and our own development team.
