Things are beginning to get back to normal this week after our return from the Christmas break. January is a strange month where it very much feels like we are in the calm before the storm. Most of the advantage packs, service packs and extensions have been released for the Autodesk 2012 products and we now turn our attention to the forthcoming releases. From what we have seen of the alpha and beta preview releases and it looks like that this will be a good year for many. Revit and Navisworks appear to have many new features and even AutoCAD has some interesting UI updates.
We are continuing to work on refining our AEC data management capability around the Autodesk 360 for BIM offering. With the updates that were released at the end of last year we believe that we have a credible workflow that will allow any size team to collaborate more effectively.
We are delivering some complex Vault projects year and four of the team are being dispatched to one of customers local offices in Denmark, US, China and Brazil over the coming weeks to implement a globally replicated Vault.
Towards the end of the week we have a strategy meeting to discuss what free apps we will be developing and releasing through the Community this year. If you have any apps you would like to see please drop me an email at nick.harris@cadline.co.uk.
